Directors
Nissar Parvej [Founder, Director]

One of the two Directors of the company, Nissar Parvej holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication & Video Production and a Post Graduate Diploma in Film and TV Production from Xavier Institute of Communication, Mumbai.

He began his career by assisting on shows like Shaka Laka Boom Boom and Sanjeevani and took over the mantle of a director on the same shows later. His passion for love stories led him to direct the sequel of Sanjeevani , titled Dil Mil Gaye. Nissar has also directed other popular shows such as Sssh.. Phir Koi Hai, Lucky , Mile Jab Hum Tum and Geet. Be it romance, horror or fantasy, Nissar is known to infuse his magic in every genre. He received the Best Director’s Award for his popular love story Geet Hui Sabsi Parayi in the year 2010.

Nissar later went on to produce shows like Humse Hai Life, Suvreen Guggal, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon ,Qubool Hai and many more.




Alind Srivastava [Founder, Director]

Alind Srivastava is the other Director of Peninsula Pictures. He completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Content Creation and Media Management from International Management Institute, New Delhi.

He left the hotel industry business and ventured into the television industry. He began his career with Sagar Arts working for shows such as Hello Dollie and Lucky. His passion for historical, fantasy and mythological shows as a Creative Director led him to successfully supervise hit shows like Arslaan, Chandragupta Maurya, Singhasan Battisi. Alind has also directed intense war sequences, involving complicated computer graphics, in Ramayan for NDTV Imagine. He was also the Creative Producer and content developer for Suvreen Guggal – Topper of the Year


Nupur Barua [Head of Operations]

Nupur Barua, the Head of Operations, holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Content Creation and Media Management from International Management Institute, New Delhi, as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism from Xavier Institute of Communications, Mumbai.

She is currently pursuing her MA 2 and year in Anthropology. She left the event and journalism industry to begin a career with Sagar Arts and creatively headed shows such as Hotel Kingston and Hello Dollie, before moving on to heading projects in an administrative capacity. She has worked part time as a review writer, fact checker and proof-reader as well.

She currently teaches scripting for Broadcast and Non Fiction at Xavier Institute of Communications, apart from her role in Peninsula Pictures.
